The H.E. Economist Peter Munyiri Foundation exists because we believe that every individual deserves an opportunity to live a dignified, productive, and fulfilling life.
Across communities in Kenya, people have the potential, ideas, talents, and determination to improve their lives. However, access to education, skills, economic opportunities, resources, mentorship, and social support can often determine whether that potential becomes a reality.
We exist to help bridge these gaps.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to empower people and strengthen communities by creating opportunities for sustainable social and economic development.
We support initiatives that help individuals gain knowledge and skills, develop livelihoods, access opportunities, participate in community development, and build greater resilience.
Rather than focusing only on short-term solutions, we believe in empowering people with the tools and opportunities they need to become more self-reliant and contribute to the development of their families and communities.

A young person with the right skills and mentorship can become an entrepreneur, professional, innovator, or community leader.
